Terms of Service
What to expect when you create a portrait or purchase credits.
The service
Acorn Portrait is an independent AI tool for a single-person, black-and-white caricature from a photo. It is not operated by or affiliated with the Korean Acorn Caricature studio or its artists. Results vary, and a completed drawing may not match your preferences exactly.
Photos you submit
You must own the photo or have permission to use it and to process the depicted person's image. Do not upload material that violates another person's rights or is intended for deception, harassment, or impersonation. You grant us and the providers in our privacy policy the limited permission needed to make and deliver your result.
You retain the rights you hold in your original photo. Your use of a generated result remains subject to applicable law and any third-party rights in the source material.
Credits and payment
The current offer is five credits for US$4.99 before applicable tax shown at checkout, with no subscription. One completed generation uses one credit; a technical failure returns it. A fresh attempt after a completed result uses another credit. Purchased credits do not expire; downloads of available results cost no extra credit.
Stripe processes payment. Returning from checkout is not proof of payment; credits are granted after confirmation. Cash refunds and their effect on unused credits are explained in the refund policy.
Results and availability
Download finished results within their 30-day private storage period. We store source photos for up to 24 hours; provider retention is separate. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, safety or provider outages. If a paid generation fails technically, we return its credit.
Accounts and misuse
Sign-in uses Google. Keep your account secure. We may restrict abusive use or content that violates these terms while handling paid credits and applicable legal rights appropriately. You can request account deletion from Profile. Some payment records may need to remain for legal or dispute reasons.
Questions and changes
Contact us through the contact page about an order, portrait or these terms. We may update these terms as the service changes and will change the date above. Nothing here limits consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to waive.
